Chap. 162.—An ACT to authorize the Town Council of Fredericksburg to
fund the Interest due on the Public Debt of said Town.
Passed March 2, 1866,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the mayor
and common council of the town of Fredericksburg are
hereby authorized arf empowered to cause to be issued bonds
of the said corporation for the amount of interest now due,
or which may tall due up to the first of January, eighteen
hundred and sixty-seven, on the public debt of the said cor-
poration, upon such time as they may think the public in-
terest requires. ;
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
