Chap. 161.—An ACT to authorize the Common Council of Petersburg to
fund the Interest due on Bonds of said City.
Passed March 1, 1866.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall be
lawful for the common council of the city of Petersburg to
fund the arrears of interest now due upon bonds of that
city, or any part thereof, by issuing therefor the bonds of the
said city, in such form, payable at such time, and at such rate
of interest, not exceeding that allowed by law, as they may
think fit; and all such bonds, heretofore issued, are hereby
declared to be valid. :
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
