Chap. 118.—An ACT giving the Consent of the Suute of Virginia to the
Action of West Virginia in regard to the Virginia Canal Company.
Passed February 28, 1866,
1. Ge it enacted by the general assembly, That the assent
of this general assembly be and it is hereby given to the act
of the legislature of West Virginia, passed February the
tw entieth, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, entitled an act to
ratify, on certain terms, the act of the general assembly of
Virginia, passed February third, eighteen hundred and sixty-
ix, relating to the Virginia canal company; and the said act
hall be taken asa part of the charter of the said company,
is if it had been ineorporated in it when it was first enacted
w this general assembly.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
