Chap. 106.—An ACT charging upon the Publie Treasury certain Allow.
anees heretofore authorized to be made out of the Library Fund,
Passed February 21, 1808.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the joint
committee on the state library be and is hereby authorized to
make to the assistant clerk and the copying clerk in the
executive department, for their services in connection with
the state library, such allowances as to the said committee
shall seem just, not exceeding, for the assistant clerk, the
annual sum ot five hundred dollars, and for the copying clerk,
three hundred dollars: the said allowances to be evidenced
by certificate of the secretary of the commonwealth, and
paid ont of the public treasury, on the warrant of the auditor
of public accounts.
2. The resolution adopted hy the general assembly on
twenty-ninth March, eighteen hundred and SIXty, authorizing
similar allowances out of the library fund, is hereby repe: aled.
3. This act shall be in force trom its passage.
