Chap. 100.—An ACT to provide for the Liabilities of the Lunatic Asylum
at Williamsburg, incurred prior to the Ist day of July 1865.
Passed February 24, 1866.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sum of eighteen thousand three hundred and thirty-six
dollars and fifty-five cents be appropriated for the purpose of
paying the outstanding Jiabilities incurred by the lunatic
asylum at Williamsburg, prior to the first day of July, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-five, for supplies necessary tor the
subsistence of the patients, and for the wages of the officers,
attendants and scrvants of said asylum; and the said appro-
priation shall be distributed among the claimants, as audited
by the committee on lunatic asylums.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
