Chap. 97.—An ACT to make Nansemond river in the county of Nanse-
mond, between certain points, a lawful fence.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That.
Nansemond river in the county of Nansemond, be and the
same is hereby declared a lawful tence from the point where
Cohom’s creek and Smith’s creek unite to form said river, to
its mouth where it enters Hampton Roads.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
