Chap. 86.—An ACT to authorize and empower the Tunis Lumber
company of Baltimore city, to hold land in the state of Virginia.

Approved February 3, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the Tunis Lumber company of Baltimore city, a corporation
chartered and organized under the laws of the state of Mary-
land, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to pur-
chase and hold a fee simple title to land in the state of Vir-
ginia necessary for its purposes, with power to grant and
convey tho same in fee or in trust: provided that the quan- |
tity of land so held at any one time shall not exceed ten
acres in any county or corporation in this state. ,

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. ,
