Chap. 69.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Charlotte
county to issue bonds for the purchase of a farm for the reception of
the poor of said county.

Approved February 8, 1888.

1. Be itenacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That :
the board of supervisors of the county of Charlotte, be and |
they are hereby authorized and empowered to issue bonds of |
the said county not exceeding five thousand dollars, for the
purchase of a farm for the reception and care of the poor of
the said county, such bonds to bear interest from such date
and be payable, principal and interest at such time as said
board of supervisors shall prescribe.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. (
