boards of Gill’s creek and Blackwater school districts, Franklin
ponnty to use any surplus county public school funds belonging to
said districts, for the p se of purchasing or erecting buildin;
a school purposes, or discharging any indebtedness of the said
istrict.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of trustees of the Gill’s creek school district and
of Blackwater school district, of Franklin county, Virginia,
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to devote
and use any surplus county public school funds belonging to
said boards respectively, now in hand or that may be in hand
within five years from the passage of this act, for the purpose
of purchasing or erecting public school-house buildings in
said districts respectively, or discharging any indebtedness
of the said districts respectively.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
