Chap. 442.An ACT to relieve Fannie E. Harvie of taxes erroneously
charged.

Whereas Fannie E. Harvie owned two acres of land lying
artly in the county of Henrico and partly in the city of
ichmond; and whereas the said land is assessed as a whole in
the county of Henrico, and the taxes, both state and county,
have been paid thereon, and a portion of the same land has
been charged with state taxes in the city of Richmond for
the same years that they were paid for in the county of
Henrico: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the said Fannie E. Harvie be, and she is hereby relieved
from the payment of any state tax so erroneously assessed
against the said portion of said land which lies in the city of
Richmond, and on which state taxes have been paid on
account of the assessment made in said county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
