Chap. 394.—An ACT to amend section one of an act entitled an act
to provide for a new registration of voters at Stock-Yards precinct,
in the county of Roanoke, approved May 18, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section one of an act entitled an act to provide for a new
registration of voters at Stock-Yards precinct, in the county
of Romoky, approved May eighteenth, eighteen hundred and
eighty-seven, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
ows:
§1. That the registrar at Big Lick precinct, in the county
of Roanoke, be authorized and directed to make a new regis-
tration of the qualified voters residing within the bounds of
said precinct, and for this purpose shall set for a period of six
days beginning on Monday the sixth day of August, eighteen
hundred and eighty-eight; and said registrar shall give notice
for at least sixty days previous, by printed hand-bills posted
at not less than ten places in said precinct of said registra-
tion.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
