pany to construct a toll bridge across Broad creek, between the
counties of Norfolk and Princess Anne.
opposite shore in Norfolk county, and may charge tolls on all !
persons traveling over or transporting animals and vehicles
over the same: provided, that said bridge shall not obstruct
navigation of the said creek, and that a suitable draw shall be
provided to avoid such obstruction.

2. Provided, that if the county of Princess Anne shall be
accorded the privilege, and elects to build a bridge between
the points named, within six months, and shall construct the
same within twelve months from the passage of this act, then
the privilege herein accorded shall be null and void, otherwise
of full force and effect.

3. Provided further, that all taxes that may become due'
the commonwealth shall be paid in lawful money and not in
coupons.

4. This act shall be in force from its passage. (
