Chap. 35.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Clarke
county to loan out certain money to the credit of the sinking fund,
provided for the redemption of the bonds of the county.
Approved January 24, 1888.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That:
the board of supervisors of Clarke county be and it is hereby |
authorized and empowered to loan out, upon real or personal
security, or both, the present and all further accumulations
of money to the credit of the sinking fund, provided for the
payment of the bonds issued by said county for the purchase
of stock in the Shenandoah Valley railroad, until said bonds
become payable.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. :
