Chap. 305.—An ACT to refund certain taxes to R. M. Kirtley, errone-
ously assessed.

Whereas it appears by the certified statement of O. B.
Thomas, treasurer of Fluvanna county, Virginia, attached
hereto and marked exhibit “A,” that Cary C. Cocke and
others, trustees for the parsonage property of the Protestant
Episcopal church in said county, have paid one hundred and
twenty-six dollars and twenty-six cents, state taxes on said
property, covering the period from eighteen hundred and
sixty-seven to eighteen hundred and eighty-six inclusive,
whicb tax was erroneously assessed; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby instructed
to issue his warrant on the treasurer of the commonwealth
in favor of R. M. Kirtley, treasurer of said church, for the
sum of one hundred and twenty-six dollars and twenty-six
cents.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
