Chap. 292.—An ACT for the relief of T. E. McCracken from a fine im-
posed by the corporation court of Fredericksburg.

Whereas a petition has been presented to the general as-
sembly of Virginia, signed by certain officers and citizens of
Fredericksburg, setting forth reasons sufficient for the remis-
sion of all in excess of fifty dollars, of a fine of five hundred
dollars imposed against him by the corporation court of
Fredericksburg; therefore,
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
T. E. McCracken be and he is hereby relieved and discharged
from the payment of all of a fine of five hundred dollars in
excess of fifty dollars, imposed by the corporation court of
Fredericksburg for assault and battery.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
