Chap. 234.—An ACT for the relief of A. J. Bishop from the payment
of a fine.

Whereas a petition has been presented to the general
assembly, signed by certain officers of the county of Patrick,
setting forth reasons sufficient for the remission of the fine
of one hundred dollars imposed against him by the county
court of Patrick; therefore,
1, Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
A. J. Bishop be and he is hereby relieved and discharged
from the payment of a fine of one hundred dollars imposed
by the county court of Patrick county for misdemeanor.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
