Chap. 2.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section one of an act enti-
tled an act to incorporate the Bristol-Goodson Water Company,
approved May 20, 1887. .

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That
section one of an act approved May twentieth, eighteen hun-
dred and eighty seven, entitled an act to incorporate the
Bristol-Goodson water company, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:

§ 1. That S. Lawrence French, H. W. Bates, John M: Bai-
ley, J. F. Hicks, George A. Blackmore, J. R. Wood, R. A.
Ayers, William F. Rhea, R. M. Page, Francis Preston, J. R.
Dickey, and A. D. Reynolds, their associates and successors,
are hereby created a body corporate and politic under the

, name and style, and are invested with all the powers, rights,
franchises, and privileges of a corporation not inconsistent
with the laws of the state of Virginia.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
