Chap. 194.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Rock-
bridge county to establish a ferry over James river at or near Glen-
wood depot.
Approved February 23, 1888.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Rockbridge
county, to establish and to maintain, in whole or in part, a free
ferry over James river, at or near Glenwood depot, and for
this purpose to acquire the ferry already established and
operated at that place, and to cause the same to be kept
upon such terms and conditions as said board of supervisors
may prescribe.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
