Chap. 179.—An ACT to release taxes due on the parsonage of the
Methodist Epicopal church, south, in Gloucester county.
Approved February 23, 1888.
Whereas the treasurer of Gloucester county has returned
to the auditor of public accounts, as purchased by the com-
monwealth of Virginia for delinquent taxes, a tract of land
containing eleven acres, charged to Roderick Bland and
others, which is a part of the land used and owned as a par-
sonage of the Methodist Episcopal church, south; now there-
ore, .
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the taxes on said land, amounting to thirty-eight dollars and
eighteen cents, be and the same are hereby released, and the
auditor of public accounts shall so endorse the same against
said land.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
