Chap. 160.—An ACT for the relief of J. R. Moss, administrator of W.
A. Moss, late treasurer of the county of Buckingham.
Approved February 18, 1888.
Whereasit is represented to the general assembly, that there
is in the hands of J. R. Moss, administrator of W. A. Moss,
late treasurer of Buckingham county, and in the hands of his
deputies, an amount of uncollected tickets for state taxes,
licenses, county and school levies for the years eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-four, eighteen hundred and eighty-five and
eighteen hundred and eighty-six; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the judge of Buckingham county court, be and he is hereby
authorized to appoint a collector, or collectors, to collect for
said administrator, with full power of distress, such tickets
for state taxes, livenses, county and school levies as yet re-
main in the hands of said administrator uncollected for said
years, which have not been returned as insolvent or delin-
quent: provided the same be collected by the first day of
January, eighteen hundred and eighty-nine.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
