Chap. 75.—An ACT to provide for the sale of delinquent lands in
Prince kdward county.

It being represented to the general assembly that the
treasurer of Prince Edward county failed to give notice, in
accordance with law, of the sale of lands returned de ‘linquent
In said county for taxes and county levies assessed) thereon
prior to the year erghteen hundred and eehty-tour, and that
In consequence thereof no sales of such lands for such taxes
and county levies have been made; theretore.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Vireinia, That
the treasurer of said county shall, on or before the first di LV
of June. eighteen hundred ‘and cighty-sev en. Gause to be pre-
pared and posted notices of such sales. in manner and form
required by section four of chapter five pre und forty.

as amended by section one of chapter cieehity seven of the
Acts of cighteen p unindanet and ci¢hty-five and eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-six, and in all other respects shall conform
his action to the provisions of said: section as so amended,
except that such sales shall be advertised in said notices, to
commence on the first dav of the August term, eighteen hun-
dred and cighty-seven, of said county; and in all other re-
spects, except as above provided, the provisions of said sec-
tion, as so amended, shall apply.
2. The sales of such lands shall be made in pursuance of the
notice above provided, and shall in all other respects conform
to the provisions of chapter tive hundred and forty-ereht of the
Acts of eivhtecn hundred and eighty-three and ei: shteen hun-
dred and eighty-four, as amended by chapter cighty-seven of
the Acts ot’ eich tee nm hundred and ‘cighty- five and elehteen
bundred and eighty-six
3. Any person fcerieved by anv entry made in the list of
delinquents, shall be entitled to relief’ as prescribed) by see-
tion seven of chapter five hundred and forty-eight of the
Acts of eighteen bundred and cighty-three and cighteen hun-
dred and cighty-four, as amended ‘by section one of chapter
eiyhty-seven of the Acts of cighteen hundred and eiehty-five,
and eighteen hundred and ei ithty -six, except that the apoli-
cation for relief shall be made on or before the first d: ay of
July, eighteen hundred and cighty-seven, and relief shall be
given such applicant in the mode and under the circumstance o8
prescribed by such section as so amended.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
