Chap. 64.—An ACT authorizing and directing the secretary of the
commonwealth to certify records for use in other States.

Approved April 11, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
wheneve -any record of any court in this State is to be aased
in another State in the United States, the secretary of’ the
commonwealth be and he is authorized and directed to au-
thenticate the same in the manner and give the certificates
required by the laws of the Stato where said record is to be
used, as far as practicable.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
