Chap. 370.—An ACT to permit residents of Farnham magisterial dis-
trict, Richmond county, to vote on May twenty-six, eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-seven.

Whereas the registration books of Farnham magisterial
district, Richmond county, were destroyed by fire on April
eleventh, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven; and whereas
there is now no recorded registration of qualified voters of
said magisterial district in existence; therefore,
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly, That every male
resident of Farnham district, Richmond county, who is of
lawful age and not disqualified from exercising the right of
sufferage under existing laws of our State otherwise than by
failure to register, shall upon making the proper oath before
the judges of election of said district on the twenty-second
day of May, cightecen hundred and eighty-seven, be permitted
to vote in said district during the election which is to take
place on May twenty-six, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven.
