Chap. 321.—An ACT to prescribe the times for holding the courts of
the second, sixteenth, and seventeenth judicial cireuits.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the circuit courts for the several counties and city compos:
ing the second, sixteenth, and seventeen judicial circuits shall
be held as follows
Dinwiddie: March twenty-first, September twenty-first.
Nottoway: March thirtieth, September thirtieth.
Brunswick: April tenth, October tenth.
Greenesville: April twentieth, October twentieth.
Sussex: April thirtieth, October thirtieth.
Prince George: May seventh, November seventh.
Chesterticld: May fifteenth, November fifteenth.
Petersburg: February fifth, June fifth, December fifth.
Russell county: First Monday in March, August, and No-
vember.
Grayson county: Second Monday in April, and Tuesday
after the third Monday in October.
Smyth county: Third Monday in March and August, and
the first Monday in December.
Washington county: Fourth Monday in April and Septem-
ber, and first Monday in January.
Buchanan: Tuesday after the first Monday in March, Au-
gust, and November.
Dickenson county: Tuesday after the second Monday in
March, August, and November.
Scott county: Third Monday in March, August, and No-
vember.
Lee county: First Monday after the fourth Monday i
March, August, and November.
Wise county: Third Monday after the fourth Monday in
March, August, and November.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
hereby repealed.
3. This act shall be in force on and after July first, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-seven.
