Chap. 231.—JOINT RESOLUTION declaring what shall be considered
the enrolled copy of the Code.
Approved May 14, 1887.
Resolved (the House concurring), That the copy of the
Code, as reported from the joint committee, when passed by
both houses and signed by the president of the Senate and
the sperker of the House of Delegates and approved by the
governor, shall be delivered to the keeper of the rolls and it
shall be considered an enrolled copy in contemplation of the
law which requires all acts to be enrolled, and the provisions
of the law so requiring, shall be inoperative as to the said act.
It shall be the duty ‘of the said keeper of the rolls to have
said act bound in a separate volume in durable style.
