Chap. 230.—JOINT RESOLUTION in relation to plates and bonds
in possession of Kendall Bank Note company.
Approved May 14, 1887.
Resolved by the Senate, (the Louse of Delegates concurring
therein), That the second auditor be and he is hereby in-
structed to procure from the Kendall Bank Note company
forthwith, the plate or plates with which the bonds of the
State were prepared by said company, and also all such bonds
and coupons if any there be remaining in the possession of
said company, and cause such plates to be broken and all of
said bonds and coupons prepared with the same, destroyed as
speedily as possible, in his presence, and in the presence ofa
joint committee consisting of one member of the Senate and
two members of the House of Delegates, to be appointed by
the presiding ofticers of the respec tive houses: provided that
before the destruction of said plates and bonds, if it can be
done conveniently, the assent of the Kendall Bank Note
company shall be obtained sctting forth that said company
assents to the destruction of the same without regard to their
judgment against the late board of sinking tund commis-
rioners.
