Chap. 168.—An ACT to authorize any corporation of this State to sub-
acribe for, guarantee, or acquire the stock and bonds of the Roanoke
water works.

Approved May 6, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
‘ny corporation of this State may subscribe for, guarantee,
rr acquire the stock and bonds of the Roanoke water works,
. corporation chartered on or about the eighteenth day of
November, eighteen hundred and cighty-six, in the circuit
court of Roanoke city, by the Honorable Henry E. Blair,
udge of the fourteenth judicial district.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
