Chap. 151.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of chapter 124 of

the Acts of Assembly of Virginia of 1885-6, entitled an act to incor-

rate the Farmers Union of Buckingham, Prince Edward, and
mberland counties.

Approved May 6, 1887.

1. Bo it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section six of chapter one hundred and twenty-four of the
Acts of eighteen hundred and eighty-five—six, in force Febru-
ary sixteenth, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
$6. The association may borrow money, provided the sum
borrowed shall not exceed ten thousand dollars at any one
time, at a rete of interest not exceeding six per centum per
annum and pledge its property, real and personal, for the
redemption of its bonds or other securities issued or made for
this purpose.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
