Chap. 117.—An ACT to regulate the printing and binding of the Vir-
ginia Supreme Court Reports, and to amend and re-enact section 7
of chapter 162 of the Code of IS75, as amended by an act approved
March 17, 1884, as amended by an act approved March 1, L&s6.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section seven of chapter one bundred and sixty-two of the
Code of cighteen hundred and seventy-three, as amended by
the act approved March seventeenth, eighteen hundred and
eighty-four, as amended by the act approved March first,
eivhteen hundred and eighty-six, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
§7. The superintendent of public printing shall contract
for the printing and binding of fifteen hundred copies of the
reports by the reporter of the court of appeals of the decis-
ions of that court, in the style of print and binding to con-
form to the present reports of the decisions of the supreme
court of the United States. The reporter shall secure the
copyright of the said reports in his own name, and assign the
same to the secretary of the commonwealth for the benetit of
the State; and he shall deliver the volumes, when completed,
to the secretary of the commonwealth. In all other respects,
in relation to the printing and binding of said reports, the
eighth section of the act of March first, eighteen hundred
and eighty-six, entitled an act to amend and re-enact the pro-
Visions of the Code of eighteen hundred and sixty, and the
acts subsequent thereto in regard to the public printing shail
apply
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
