Chap. 90.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of chapter 366
of the Session Acts of the General Assembly of Virginia of 1869-
"20, entitled an act to incorporate the town of Berryville, and to
provide a charter for the same, approved October 29, 1870.

Approved February 8, 1886.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section six of chapter three hundred and sixty-six of the acts
of the session of. eighteen hundred and sixty-nine-seventy, en-
titled an act to incorporate the town of Berryville, and to pro-
vide a charter for the same, approved October twenty-ninth,
eighteen hundred and seventy, be amended and re-enacted, so
as to read as follows: |

§ 6. There shall be a town sergeant, treasurer, and an as-
sessor of said town, to be appointed by the council at its first
meeting held after each annual election, or as soon thereafter
as practicable.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
