Chap. 438.—HOUSE JOINT RESORUTION paying Geo. H. Bag-
well for services in establishing the boundary line between Mary-
land and Virginia.
Approved March 6, 1886.
Whereas, by a joint resolution of the general assembly of
eighteen hundred’ and’ eighty-three and eighty-four, Geo. H.
Bagwell, of Accomack county, should have received for his
services, as commissioner, in establishing the line between Ma-
ryland and Virginia, at least eight hundred dollars, as was
agreed between Governor Cameron and the representatives of
said county; and whereas, he has only received six hundred
dollars; and whereas, there remains an unexpended part of the
amount appropriated under an act of April second, eighteen
hundred and seventy-nine, of one hundred and eighty- nine
dollars and eighty-five cents; therefore,
1. Be it resolved, the senate concurring, That the auditor of
public accounts be and is hereby directed to pay over to the
said Geo. H. Bagwell the one hundred and eighty-nine dollars
and eighty-five cents, or so much as remains of the unexpended
amount of said appropriation of eighteen hundred and seventy-
nine, which shall be in full for the services of Geo. H. Bagwell,
as commissioner in establishing the boundary line between Ma-
ryland and Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
