Chap. 36.—An ACT for the relief of T. A. Graves, of Madison county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for W. J. Cave, treasurer of Madison county,
to collect by levy, as if the same were executions in the hands
of the sheriff of said county, all tax-bills assessed for the years
eighteen hundred and eighty-two and eighteen hundred and
eighty-three, in Robertson magisterial district, Madison county,
and which were turned over to T. A. Graves, deputy treasurer
for said county, in his settlement with the proper authorities,
and which were not returned delinquent’: provided, however,
that the right of the said treasurer to levy for the said tax-bills
shall not continue beyond one year from the date of the passage
of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
