Chap. 153.—An ACT to change the name of the Franklin Agricultu-
ral and Mechanical Society to the Tide-water Agricultural and Me-
chanical Society.

Approved February 18, 1886.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the name of the Franklin Agricultural and Mechanical Society,
incorporated by an act of the general assembly, approved
March the fourth, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, shall be
and is hereby changed to the Tide-water Agricultural and Me.
chanical Society, and by that name shall possess and enjoy all
the rights, privileges and powers conferred, and be subject to
all the limitations imposed by the act aforesaid.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
