Chap. 68.—An ACT for the relief of John W. Richardson, treasurer
of Smythe county.
Approved November 22, 1884.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
John W. Richardson, treasurer of Smythe county, be and he
is hereby allowed the further time of one year to collect any
unpaid taxes in his hands for collection as such treasurer for
the years eighteen hundred and eighty-one and eighteen
hundred and eighty-two inclusive; and to enable him to do
so, he shall have the same powers of distress and levy as was
in force in the said years applicable to the collection of taxes
of this commonwealth.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
