Chap. 4.—An ACT to direct the auditor of public accounts to turn over
to the commissioners of the sinking fund certain bonds in his custody.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be authorized and directed to
turn over to the commissioners of the sinking fund all bonds
of this state which have been received by him, or may here-
after be received by him, in the settlement of claims of the
commonwealth against the sureties of treasurers or sheriffs
or other officers, or received by him in the settlement of any
other claims, fines, or forfeitures, to be by said commissioners
cancelled according to law.
2. This act shall be in force trom its passage.
