Chap. 187.—An ACT to provide for a new registration of the voters of
the city of Richmond.
Approved December 1, 1884.
1. Beit enacted bythe general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the electoral board of the city of Rich-
mond, if they shall so determine by a vote of said board, to
order a new registration of the voters of said city, during the
year eighteen hundred and eighty-five, at such time as they
may designate; and for that purpose the several registrars of
said city shall sit six days, beginning at sunrise and closing
at sunset on each day, for the purpose of registering the duly
qualified voters of said city; and they shall in every respect
be subject to and be governed by the general laws of the state
in regard to registration of voters.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
