Chap. 82.—An ACT to fix the time for Holding the Circuit Courts of
the several Counties of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit.

Approved February 7, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the circuit courts for the several counties composing the six-
teenth judicial circuit, shall be held at the following times in
each year, to-wit: Buchanan, first Wednesday after the fourth
Monday in May. and first Wednesday after last Monday in
October; Russell, first Thursday after first Monday in March
and Auyust, and first Wednesday after first Monday in No-
vember; Scott. third Monday in March, August and Novem-
ber; Lee, first Tuesday after fourth Monday in March, August
and November; Wise, first Wednesday after first Monday
alter fourth Monday in March and August; Dickenson, first
Wednesday after second Monday after the fourth Monda
March and August; Smyth, third Monday in April and Sep-
tember; Washington, first Monday in May, October and
January.

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act, are
hereby repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
