Chap. 77.—An ACT to allow the citizens of Worcester county, Mary-
land, a period of two years to remove their Planted Oysters in Chin-
coteague bay from the south side of the State Line, recently estab-
lished.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
all citizens of Worcester county, in the state of Maryland,
who have heretofore planted oysters in Chincoteague bay,
on the south side of the recently established line between
Virginia and Maryland, and north of what has heretofore
been considered the true line, upon the supposition that they
were planting oysters in the state of Maryland, shall have
the same rights of property and possession in said oysters as
citizens of Virginia for the space of two years from the‘pas-
sage of this act.
. This act shall be in force from its passage.
