Chap. 502. —An ACT for the relief of G. T. Bonner & Co., and pro-
viding for the payment of warrants of the second auditor of Virginia,
on the treasurer of the commonwealth, in favor of G. T. Bonner &
Co., dated December 23. 1875, and numbered 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 re-
spectively, amounting to $1,975 40.

Whereas the following warrants of the second auditor of
Virginia, on the treasurer of the commonwealth of Virginia,
to-wit: number two, dated December twenty-three, eighteen
hundred and seventy-five, for the sum of three hundred and
forty-two dollars, on account of interest payable, of two per
centum, due first of January, eighteen hundred and seveaty-
two, on coupon debt, issued under act of March thirtieth,
eighteen hundred and seventy-one, as amended by act of
seventh of March, eighteen hundred and seventy-two; and
numbers three, four, five, and six, each dated December
twenty-third, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, and each
for the sum of three hundred and twenty-two dollars and
eichty-five cents, on account of the interest payable of two
per centum (less tax) on funded coupon debt, under the act
of March thirteenth, cighteen hundred and seventy-three;
and number seven, dated December twenty-third, eighteen
hundred and seventy-five, for the sum of three hundred and
forty-two dollars, on account of the interest payable of two
per centum on funded coupon debt, under the act of March
thirteenth, cighteen hundred and seventy-three; all of said
warrants being drawn in favor of G. T. Bonner and Com-
pany, and aggregating the sum total of one thousand nine
hundred and seventy-five dollars and forty cents, are now
outstanding and unpaid, owing to the fact that there was an
accidental delay in presenting the said warrants to the treas-
urer of Virginia, for payment until the money appropriated
for the payment of such warrants had been exhausted or
disbursed for other purposes; and whereas, it is right and
proper that the warrants aforesaid should be paid; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sum of one thousand nine hundred and seventy-five dol-
lars and forty cents, be, and the same is hereby appropriated
out of any money in the treasury of Virginia, not otherwise
specially appropriated, for the payment of warrants number
two, three, four, five, six, and seven, drawn by the second
auditor of Virginia, on the treasurer otf the commonwealth,
in favor of G. T. Bonner and Company, dated December
twenty-third, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, as hereinbe-
fore described; and the treasurer of the commonwealth of
Virginia, is hereby authorized and directed to pay the said
warrants upon their presentation by G. T. Bonner and Com-
pany, or their agents.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
