Chap. 389.—An ACT to repeal the collateral inheritance tax.

In force March 11, 184.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
all acts and part of acts heretofore passed imposing a tax on
collateral inheritance are hereby repealed, and all penalties
heretofore incurred under what is known as the collateral in-
heritance tax are hereby remitted, and all taxes under said
provision of said acts or parts of acts heretofore claimed to
ye due, are hereby remitted.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
