Chap. 32.—An ACT to change the name of the London and Bucking-
ham Construction and Mining Company to Flat Top Coal Company,
and confer certain privileges thereon.
Approved January 18, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the name of the London and Buckingham Construction and
Mining Company, incorporated by an act of the general
ascombly, approved February fifteenth, eighteen hundred
and eighty-two, shall be and hereby is changed tothe Flat
Top Coal Company, and by that name shall possess and
enjoy all the rights, privileges and powers conferred by and
be subject to all the limitations imposed thereon by the act
aforesaid.
2. That it shall be lawful for the said company to guar-
antee the interest or the principal and interest of bonds of
any mining or manufacturing company of this state or ad-
joining states, as well as to acquire and hold the shares of the
capital stock of any such corporation, and it may and shall
be lawful tor said company to issue and sell its bonds from
time to time on such terms as its board of directors may
deem expedient in the prosecution of its works, and to secure
the payment of the same by mortgage upon all or any portion
of its property and franchises.
