Chap. 249.—An ACT to exempt from taxation the property of the
Baldwin-Augusta Fair, so long as used for fuir purposes.
Approved March 3, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
he property of Baldwin- Aucusta fair shall be relieved from
axation so long as it is used exclusively for fair purposes.
But this act shall not be construed to exempt the property of
Any person residing on the property of said fair or the busi-
ness of any such person, if taxed by any existing law.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
