Chap. 242.—An ACT to require the Attorney-General to institute pro-
ceedings to ascertuin whether the charterof the Richmond, Williams-
burg and Central Turnpike Company, in Henrico county, has been
forfeited.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the attorney-general be and he hereby is required to institute
the necessary proceedings to ascertain whether the charter of
the Richmond, Williamsburg and Central turnpike company,
in the county of Henrico, has been forfeited by reason of the
failure of the company to comply with the provisions of its
charter and the general laws in relation to turnpikes, and in
that case to secure such further relief as is provided by law.
2. This act shall be in torce from its passage.
