Chap. 22.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the second section of an
act to incorporate the Chesapeake Warehouse Company of Norfolk,
Virginia, approved March 6, 1872.
Approved January 18, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section two of an act to incorporate the Chesapeake Ware-
house Company of Norfolk, Virginia, passed March, eighteen
hundred and se venty- -two, be amended and re-enacted so as
to read as follows:
$2. The capital stock of said company shall be five thou-
sand dollars, which may be increased by said company to a
sum not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars. The said
capital stock shall be divided into shares of one hundred dol-
lars cach; shall be deemed personal property ; shall be trans-
ferable, as may be prescribed by the by-laws of the company,
and cach share shall be entitled to one vote in all meetings of
the stock holders.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
