Chap. 191.—An ACT to authorize the Old Dominion Iron and Nail
Works Company to purchase timber lands in the counties of Chester-
field, Amelia, Rockbridge, Powhatan and Botetourt, and to sell and
convey the same.

Approved February 26, 1884.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the Old Dominion iron and nail works company be and it is
hereby authorized and empowered to purchase in each of the
counties of Chesterfield, Amelia, Rockbridge, Powhatan and
Botetourt, not exceeding twenty thousand acres of timber
lands, the said company “desiring this privilege for the pur-
pose of procuring timber for the manufacture of nail kegs,
cc.; and said company may at its pleasure sell and convey
the said lands.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
