Chap. 173.—An ACT to allow A. R. Green, treasurer, further time to
return lists of Insolvents and Delinquents.

Approved February 25, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
A. R. Green, treasurer of Halifax county, shall be and he is
hereby allowed until the first day of May, eighteen hundred
and eighty-four, to make returns of insolvents and delin-
quent lists of taxes for eighteen bundred and eighty and
eiyhteen hundred and eighty -one; and when said lists have
becn certified by the supervisors of the respective districts for
which the same are returned, and by the county court of said
county, the said treasurer shall be allowed the proper credits
in his settlements with the supervisors and school boards of
said county ; and the auditor of public accounts shall credit
said treasurer by whatever amounts said supervisors and
county court may certify as being insolvent and delinquent
in his settlements with said treasurer.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
