Chap. 171.—An ACT to authorize the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Greene to audit and allow certain claims against said
county.

Approved February 25, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of’ the county of Greene be and are

hereby empowered to make an appropriation to refund to
William T. Chapman and James M. Simms moneys advanced
or guaranteed by said Chapman and Simms, on behalf of the
county of Greene, for survey made in the year eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-seven: provided that the said board of
supervisors shall allow, in their discretion, s0 much as they
may dcem right and just of the claims of said Chapman and
Simms, not to exceed one hundred and fitty dollars in the
averevate ; and the action of the board of supervisors, under
this act, shall be subject to the approval of the jude of the
county court of Greene.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
