Chap. 139.—An ACT for relief of J.C. Allison.
Approved February 22, 1884.
1. Be it enacted bythe general assembly of Virginia, That
J.C. Allison, late treasurer of Wythe county, be and he is
hereby allowed the further time of one year to collect any
unpaid taxes in his hands for collection as such treasurer, for
the year eighteen hundred and seventy-five to the year eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-two, inclusive; and to enable him to
do so, he shall have the same power of distress and levy as
was in force in the said years applicable to the collection of
taxes of this commonwealth.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
