Chap. 105.—An ACT to provide for the protection of Fish in the county
of Frederick,
Approved February 12, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall not be lawful for any one, for the space of four years,
tu fish in any stream in the county of Frederick, with any
reine, net, or trap of any kind, or with any other implement
except a hook and line.
2. Upon compl: aint by any person before a justice of the
peace, of the violation of this act, he shall issue a warrant tor
the arrest of the person or persons against whom complaint
is made, and shall cause the same to be apprehended, and
brought before him or some other justice of the peace of said
county, and if found guilty, he shall impose a fine upon such
person or persons, of not less than five nor more than fifty
dollars—one-half of which shall be paid to the person making
the complaint, and the other half to the eommonwealth, and
judement shall be rendered by the justice against the persons
so found guilty for the costs of proceeding.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
