Chap. 83.—An ACT to authorize the Washington, Cincinnati, and St.
Louis railroad company to adopt a standard gauge.

Approved April 21, 1882.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the Washington, Cincinnati, and Saint Louis railroad com-
pany may, in lieu of a narrow gauge railroad, as now author-
ized by their charter, adopt, locate, construct, and maintain
a standard guage railroad.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
